Dr. Andranik Howhannesian is a board-certified urologist with nearly 20 years of experience and advanced skill, offering his comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services to patients at Sovereign Medical Group and The Valley Hospital.
Dr. Howhannesian graduated from Boston University School of Medicine with honors in Psychiatry, Sociomedical Sciences and Biology of Disease, and completed residency training in Surgery and Urology at the New York University Medical Center. After a few years of practice, Dr. Howhannesian also completed additional training in hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery to offer patients the latest urologic treatments.

Dr. Howhannesian listened to my symptoms and was very willing to work with my other providers to help with my continued care. I have a complex rare disease so having a provider willing to help out my team and myself in a friendly manner was really refreshing.

A pleasant representative at the front desk. A professional and patient doctor. heard everything i add to say and responded to it professionally. The downside was that i had to wait in the waiting room for about an hour and a half.

Nice clean office, had to fill out basic forms upon arrival, was seen within 5 minutes after completing the form. Doctor has great bed side manner, explained everything in detail, coming back for a follow up. The Dr, is not one of those Drs that runs in and runs out, he listened to everything I had to say and answered all my questions. Highly recommended

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS DOCTOR! I was hospitalized and needed to see a urologist ASAP. I conveyed this to the doctor's office and scheduled a time that was convenient for me on zocdoc. The doctor's office confirmed my appointment time and then once I arrived at my appointment I was told by his rude receptionist that the doctor isn't even working today. After the receptionist shouted at me for quite some time, she rescheduled me for an appointment with a NEUROLOGIST when I evidently needed to see a UROLOGIST. Absolutely horrible! Stay away from this unprofessional practice!
