About Dr. Andrea Hastings
Dr. Andrea Hastings is part of BayCare Medical Group and specializes in family medicine. She completed an undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and then
earned her Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. She continued her medical education by completing a family medicine residency at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital/Mercy Health in Youngstown, Ohio. Dr. Hastings serves the Lakeland area and works with patients of all ages and their families to provide the highest level of care through physical examinations, preventative care and in the diagnosis and treatment of various illnesses and injuries. My family has a new insurance and the Dr Hasting keeps sending our new prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy. We have to wait for them to fill it to find out. Then call them to cancel. Manually put it a transfer to the correct pharmacy and wait for them to fill the prescription. It’s a lot of hassle for no reason and we correct the pharmacy on every visit and have called the office to correct this but they aren’t fixing it. This highly delays us getting medicine. Now with this hurricane that came in I wasn’t able to get my medicine before they closed for the storm and I have to keep waiting. This is extremely frustrating and feels like no one at the facility will listen or that they can’t accurately pay attention. Additionally Dr Hastings tells you what she wants to move forward with but doesn’t explain why she wants to proceed with that direction instead of others.

I’ve never had such a positive overall experience w a doctor or office in general. They attended me promptly & efficiently. I was in & out for a first time patient appt in less than an hr! About 45m/less. I was listened to. She was very knowledgeable, patient. Didn’t feel rushed at all. All the office staff were great! Can’t say enough positive things

It was the best experience ever. Made my appointment online. Office was clean safe and I had very little wait time if any for my appointment. The doctor was caring and listened and asked questions to better help me. I felt like she cared.
