About Andrea Kosty
Andrea Kosty, MSN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience as a bedside nurse. She began her nursing journey at the University of North Carolina, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2011. After working extensively in neurology and critical care step-down units, Andrea pursued further education at Maryville University, graduating with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2024. As a Nurse Practitioner, her focus is preventative care and helping patients improve their health outside of the hospital setting.
Andrea’s decision to join OnePeak Medical was driven by her belief in the power of functional medicine as a complement to Western medicine. She is passionate about seeing the patient as a whole and addressing all aspects of health to promote long-term wellness. She believes in helping people manage their health through more than just prescriptions, taking a comprehensive approach to healing and improving quality of life.
Andrea is particularly committed to creating a safe space for patients to discuss their health concerns and goals, focusing on motivating positive change in every area of their well-being. Her approach is centered around empowering patients to take charge of their health and achieve lasting improvements.
Outside of her professional life, Andrea finds joy in spending time with her family, especially her husband, and the life they’ve built together in Central Oregon. She enjoys skiing, fishing, biking, dancing, listening to music, reading, cooking, and exploring new restaurants, all while embracing the natural beauty of the region.
