He is an associate professor, department of surgery at Michigan State University. Dr. Behler provides care that is personal and focused on access to care. He is a strong believer in advocating for the patient with timely appointments and preventative medicine. He believes in listening to each patient’s needs and working with them and their primary care physicians to improve their health and keep them well. He places a high emphasis and value on communication with referring providers and having open communication with each patient. He is committed to providing the best experience for the patient. Dr. Behler resides in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife and three children. Together they enjoy traveling to Leelanau County as much as possible.
