“Really nice overall experience. The front desk woman has been lovely. We only communicated over the phone but she made the process easy and helped me stay on top of the appointment (I have ADHD so I need and appreciate the check-ins/reminders). Dr. Lee was nice as well and helped me feel comfortable throughout the process. I ”

Getting to know Dr. Andrew Lee

Hi, I’m Dr. Andrew Lee, a board-certified psychiatrist working with both adults and children navigating mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, and autism. My goal is to help individuals and families better understand their mental health and discover sustainable, effective paths to healing. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way of balance, and build toward meaningful change with clarity and care. My approach is collaborative, personalized, and grounded in science. I focus on therapy and education first and include medication only when it’s truly helpful. We’ll look at the full picture; relationships, sleep, nutrition, movement, and more, to create a plan that empowers you and reflects your values. I earned my MD from Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed my residency at the University of Chicago. I then trained in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry at UCLA. I’ve spoken on topics like ADHD and adolescent mental health for public and professional audiences, including the LA County Department of Mental Health.
