About Dr. Andrew Resnick
Andrew Resnick, Au.D., is a licensed audiologist who has been in practice since 1997. Before opening his own practice, he worked at several major medical centers in New York City. He founded the Hearing Resource Center at Lenox Hill Hospital and more recently served as Audiology Director at Columbia University Medical Center Eastside. Dr. Resnick earned his Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences, as well as a Master of Science degree from Hunter College, City University of New York. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the CUNY Graduate Center and has lectured at numerous conferences. Currently (2010–2011), Dr. Resnick serves on the Board of Directors of the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. He has extensive experience in both pediatric and adult audiology, with particular interests in new hearing aid technology and hearing conservation for musicians. In 2007, he opened his own practice to provide more personalized attention to his patients' needs.

Very knowledgeable about all aspects of his field. After a thorough hearing examination he provided a candid assessment about the pros and cons of various hearing aide devices, and their potential benefits and limitations vis-a-vis my particular type of hearing loss. Showed no bias toward any particular brand and applied no pressure to purchase anything. First rate all the way.
