His volunteer efforts include performing sports physical exams for local youth including cardiac screening, educating local youth on various sports injuries and participating in an autism awareness community event. Prior to earning his medical degree, Dr. Salinas served as a clinical research assistant at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where he interviewed and obtained medical histories from cardiac and vascular surgery patients for preoperative evaluation and curated data for an analysis of cardiac procedures for more than 450 patients. Dr. Salinas is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
