Dr. Angela Azar is a Board Certified adult and pediatric Dermatologist who has been practicing in Great Neck, Long Island for 20 years. Originally from Iran, Dr. Azar graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed her Residency in Dermatology at New York Medical College. As a Dermatologist, Dr. Azar performs procedures such as rashes, warts, mole checks, skin cancer detection/treatment, acne, rosacea, discoloration of skin, psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, fungus, nails, hair, and keloids. Cosmetic dermatological procedures include lipo, varicose vein treatment, laser hair removal, fillers (juvederm and restylane), Botox, laser tightening, photo facials, glycolic acid peels, mole removal, earlobe repairs, and cyst removals. In her office, Dr. Azad uses the most up-to-date cutting edge technology such as endovascular venous ablation, I Lipo, and the latest laser technology for hair removal and skin tightening.

Dr. Azar was not only kind and welcoming but also demonstrated excellent bedside manner by taking the time to listen to my concerns and explain everything clearly.

Definitely have a list of questions to ask, she is fast. Heads up, her PA and medical assistant will be in the room as well. Waited 45 minutes for her to say my concerns (non cancerous ) are not important, see you in a month. Most Derm rx are not covered by health plans. Overall, it was an okay appointment. I don’t not plan to follow up at this office.

Terrible physician. She cares more about how she is dressed than her patients. She rushed my entire visit, refused to look me in the eyes, and was unorganized and scattered. Further, she took a biopsy, rushed that and put a bandaid and gave no further instructions for care.
I found myself with a swollen heel (where the mole was) and had to have my husband properly bandage me. All your getting with this doc is a modern office in great neck ( which are a dime a dozen in that part of town) and a lackluster egotistical dermatologist that doesnt listen and you may leAve with a dollar store grade bandaid and terrible treatment. PASS ON HER PLEASE! Find someone who cares. I hope she leaves the profession and just shops for a living and leaves humans and their dermatological problems alone.

There was no wait time , and all measures of safety were taken during this time in a pandemic! I had a biopsy done at the time of my visit ! Very comfortable and pleasant!
