Hi there, I'm Angela!
Hello, I'm Angie! I am a dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with a passion for mental health care. With a keen understanding of psychiatric disorders and a compassionate approach, I strive to empower my patients to achieve mental well-being. I have experience in a variety of mental health disorders including but not limited to depression, ADHD, and PTSD.

My approach to care includes pharmacological approaches, therapeutic approaches, and holistic approaches.

I work with patients 7 years old and above. I have a passion for working with children and Veterans.

My environment is laid back and comfortable. I ask lots of questions and strive to know each individual person.
My journey to mental healthcare
My passion for mental health care began early. Witnessing a close relative with mental deficits and the way he was treated sparked my interest in the field. As I grew older, I battled depression, especially during my teenage years. Mental health wasn’t a topic that was discussed, understood, or treated back then. As an adult, I faced post-partum depression, debilitating grief from the loss of a good friend, and health issues. These experiences made me realize the scarcity of mental health providers—I would drive two hours one way for a visit. Hearing others voice similar struggles inspired me to pursue an education in mental health. I still experience my own mental health challenges and seek treatment as recommended. My journey fuels my dedication to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care for others.

Goals are set during the initial encounter and reviewed/revised during follow-up encounters.
My first session with you
Initial visits last about an hour. Each client will answer diagnostic questionnaires prior to the appointment time to best determine the type of treatment needed.
