I scheduled this appointment with Zocdoc. Even though this was a virtual appointment I received a phone call stating they was confused why I scheduled an appointment with this office and I should probably see my primary care doctor. I just wanted someone that was a viable to look at a rash I had on my face and to give me some advice on treating it. I have good insurance and I just didn’t understand why they didn’t want to service me. The lady that called was nice and respectful but kept mentioning that they was confused why I scheduled the appointment seeing that I live so far from the office. I explained That it was virtual so I didn’t think it mattered and she said yea it’s probably not a good idea for just one appointment. I just thought that was a little weird but I respect that. I just would refer them to anyone.
