“I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Saha. After years of having ADHD go undiagnosed, he was the first provider to really take the time to listen and help me figure out what was going on. He worked with me to find the right diagnosis and treatment, and since starting medication, I’ve felt more confident in taking on challenges in my life. In all of our sessions, he makes sure to review concrete skills that can help me organize my life and process emotions — he’s a psychiatrist and therapist in one. He’s thoughtful, reliable, and actually follows through on everything he says he’ll do—whether it’s paperwork, follow-ups, or checking in. He’s also quick to respond if anything comes up between visits, and I always feel like I’m in good hands. Dr. Saha genuinely cares, and it shows in how he approaches each session with empathy and a problem-solving mindset. I trust him completely and would recommend him without hesitation to my friends and family.”

Getting to know Dr. Anik Saha

Welcome to BraveMD! I'm Dr. Anik Saha – a psychiatrist who had the privilege of learning from multiple psychopharmacology and psychotherapy experts at Mount Sinai Hospital, where I completed my residency training and now serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and hold a bachelor's degree from Cornell University. I received specialized training in medication management and psychotherapy for anxiety and OCD, with an additional focus on depression and ADHD. My treatment style is down to earth and engaging. I won't be a blank wall-instead, I aim to build a genuine relationship where we co-create a warm space to process emotions, solve problems, and face challenges head on.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I deeply respect the courage and vulnerability it takes to improve your life with intention. That’s why I started BraveMD - to help people unearth and direct their innate grit to face their fears, assert their needs, and reopen their lives. It would be my privilege to help you foster more peace and fulfillment in your life. Feel free to connect!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have significant training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression, along with psychodynamic and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) training. I also provide detailed attention to medication management, staying up to date with evidence-based approaches. I don’t rush through sessions, and make sure to take the time needed to help my patients make informed choices in their treatment.

Dr. Saha truly cares about my wellbeing and safety. He is reliable, attentive, loyal, patient, kind and goes out of his way to make sure I’m given the best treatment possible. I’m genuinely honored to be a patient of such a brilliant psychiatrist.
Dr. Saha is profoundly and professional. His care has equipped me with the tools I need to prioritize my health and wellbeing as well as succeed in all of my personal pursuits. He is especially in tune with my unique needs and gives me detailed recommendations on how I can best overcome challenges. Very thankful for Dr. Saha!
Dr Saha is incredibly thoughtful, analytical, and encourages actionable progress to meet goals. His work style is open, non-judgmental and is all about helping his patients understand themselves better and beter themselves. He has been trusted doctor for well over a year now and highly recommend to anyone. He has broad research knowledge, practical perspectives, and has helped me tremendously.
Highly recommended!
Dr. Saha is the best psychiatrist and therapist I have ever seen! When talking with him about issues with my partner and family which were making me depressed and anxious, he was an active listener and actually helped me solve my problems. He helped me figure out how to be a better communicator and we practiced talking through conversations together. It was a refreshing experience to have such a dynamic interaction with a therapist rather than having one sit there without providing insight. He blends many different types of therapies together and the resolutions we come to during each session are creative and personalized which really work for my life. I am thankful to have a competent, relatable therapist rather than a brick wall. With his lifestyle motivation I’m more active and eating healthier which hugely benefits my physical and mental health. Since starting 3 months ago, my symptoms have improved and I was able to get off medications! I couldn’t recommend him any more highly!
Dr. Saha worked with me through Mt. Sinai for two years. In that time I was consistently impressed by his patience, his deep knowledge, his warmth, and his encouragement. With his support I found the difficulties I was experiencing begin to release their hold on me and allow me to have more room for my family and my personal life. It was difficult work and we went through many strategies to get there, but ultimately I was thrilled with where we ended up when he moved on to his own practice. I recommend him without reservation!
My visits are always insightful
I had the privilege of having Dr. Saha as my therapist last year. Right from the start, he made me feel extremely comfortable in opening up to him; his communication is top-notch. With Dr. Saha, there’s light at the end of the tunnel. He gives you the confidence to tackle the issue you’re having head on. Highly recommended!
Hi Everyone, just wanted to come on here and say that Anik literally has saved my live in so many ways, I been struggling with OCD since I was 7 years and I never really felt the need to be honest with any of my previous doctors, but with Anik it was different, Ik I bit cliche but truly the patience that he gave me was absolutely necessary for me to open up and be honest about the things that are going on in my head, something that had STUCK with me is that he always made me feel that my OCD has no power over me and it kinda gave me my power back in a way, I just really hope that whoever is reading know that you are STRONG and you are not alone in this, :). Thanks Anik for empowering me and feel like I can be more that just my OCD.
Working with Dr. Saha has been transformative for me. I struggled with OCD for years and had a hard time finding a doctor who could really get to the core of the issue. Dr. Saha is not the type of psychiatrist who prescribes you meds and sends you on your way. We’ve built a real, trusting relationship and utilize various treatment modalities and methods to overcome my OCD triggers, anxieties, and other emotional and psychological challenges. He is a caring doctor who consistently validates the strength and courage it takes to grow and heal. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a caring, knowledgeable psychiatrist. He’s truly a gem in the field!
Dr. Saha is a wonderful psychiatrist and has helped me achieve significant breakthroughs in mental wellness. He is extremely thoughtful, caring, and knowledgeable about treatments. I stumbled upon him searching for someone skilled in a unique cross-section of issues (obsessive-compulsive coupled with a sleep disorder) and am thrilled with the progress that I have made. It is also worth noting that he is extremely organized when it comes to his practice management - which helps a lot when it comes to keeping appointments, insurance reimbursement, and other issues that patients might face. I strongly recommend Dr. Saha.
Dr. Saha has been a real important influence in helping me address my ADHD, Anxiety and improve my overall approach to relationships and issues in my life. He offers great flexibility in meeting and has actionable advice that leaves me empowered without feeling judged. I have been seeing him for over 5 months and continue to look forward to our sessions.
