“Beyond happy I found Dr. Khan!!!! Highly recommend her to anyone that’s been ignored by the large healthcare system. Her team made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. I’ve never felt so heard in my life as Dr. Khan spent over an hour listening to my concerns. I’ve been searching for an integrative provider for a while now, and they always lean a little too “natural” or too conventional but Dr. Khan is the perfect in-between! ”

About Dr. Anila Khan

Dr. Anila Khan, DO, is a board-certified primary care physician with over 22 years of experience. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University. She practices conventional medicine alongside integrative healthcare modalities such as osteopathic manipulative medicine, herbal, and complementary medicine in Illinois. “I want to help my patients attain optimal health through education, lifestyle, dietary modification, herbal or natural treatment, and medications when required. The key is to get to the root of the problem through listening and in-depth analysis. Once the root cause is treated, many problems disappear. I collaborate with my patients, making them active participants in their healthcare. Adult informed patients always make the final decision. Despite what managed healthcare systems and ‘big pharma’ suggest, our bodies have an innate ability to heal without excessive medications, which often cause further harm and dependencies. I grew up with grandparents who practiced homeopathic medicine, making ‘good old-fashioned house calls,’ while my parents, aunts, and uncles were physicians and educators of conventional medicine. The ‘Western Managed Healthcare Model’ did not allow me to incorporate alternative treatments, so I started my own practice—slower paced, simple, and without drama. I find it imperative to include aesthetics in my practice, as we enhance not only inner vitality but external beauty. I wanted KMC to differ from other medspas: yes, we work on external appearance, but first, we figure out what’s going on inside your body. External symptoms directly reflect internal health.
