About Ann Marie Paradis

Ann Marie Paradia, Dipl. Ac., L. Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is nationally board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Ann Marie has always had a strong interest in anatomy and physiology and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Anthropology from Temple University. She received her Master of Acupuncture Studies degree, as well as a certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine, from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Glenside, PA. Ann Marie also participated in the Korean Medicine Field Study program at Wonkwang University in Iksan, South Korea. Primarily practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) integrated with American Physical Acupuncture, Ann Marie enjoys treating a wide range of conditions. Her special interests include myofascial (sports) treatments, trigger point/motor point therapy, pain management and women’s health. In addition to acupuncture, Ann Marie uses ancillary techniques such as cupping, gua sha, tuina, electro-stimulation and nutritional supplements in order to meet the individual needs of her patients. Ann Marie currently resides in Philadelphia with her family. When she isn’t practicing acupuncture, Ann Marie enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, cooking and traveling.
