About Dr. Anna Arakelyan
Dr. Anna Arakelyan is a passionate and dedicated physician who goes above and beyond for her patients. She grew up in a family of engineers and has always been the curious kind. Born in Armenia, she moved to the United States at the age of 15. Her passion for medicine became evident during high school when she started volunteering at local hospitals. She immediately felt that taking care of patients is a gift she possesses. Dr. Arakelyan earned her undergraduate degree from UC Irvine before attending Ross University School of Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Medicine. She completed her residency training in internal medicine at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California, finishing her final year at White Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Arakelyan is deeply loved by her patients due to the unique connection she develops with them. Her special interests include preventative medicine, obesity medicine, and addiction medicine. A true patient advocate, Dr. Arakelyan's oath is to help as many people as she can.
