I did not realize the associated healthcare company (Intermountain Health) was religiously affiliated. If I had known that, I would have chosen a different healthcare system, and I likely will not be returning. Examples of this during my visit: I was (1) told the company does not support birth control because of the views of the Catholic Church and (2) asked repeatedly about my marital status, and they could not tell me why this was asked. Would not recommend.”

Dr. Newman and her medical assistant were absolutely wonderful. Both of them were highly communicative and had great bedside manners. I appreciated how efficient they were in timing as well. I will definitely be back again!

I’m always worried about seeing new gynecologists since I’ve had several awful experiences in my past, but Dr Newman was great. She’s very kind and listened to my concerns. She came off as really smart and understanding so I’ll definitely be seeing her from now on!

Dr. Newman is a fantastic doctor! I’ve seen her twice already - once for an IUD insertion. She was so great for the IUD. That was a terribly painful experience but she was extremely supportive, patient and helpful. The staff at the office is very friendly and sweet. I love this place! I’d definitely recommend.

The medical assistant from Minnesota (I forgot her name) was very kind and welcoming. Then when Dr. Newman came in she was also very welcoming. She’ll ask for your pronouns/occupation/etc. just to make you more comfortable :) Very inclusive environment. She was helpful with any questions I had and was vocal throughout the pelvic exam so I knew exactly what was going on. She explained everything in a clear manner so that nothing was confusing. 10/10 recommend!

I have a “typical” concern compounded by a rare condition that most doctors—in my experience—aren’t comfortable handling, but Dr. Newman really listened. She offered helpful advice and never made me feel like I was overreacting or pushing her beyond her wheelhouse. Hooray!

I found Dr. Newman to be the kind of gynecologist I would want to see if I were having lady issues. She was very knowledgeable and I found her to be exceptional with the kind of work that she does, which is her help patients understand their private areas, the best that she can. If you are looking for a woman, who understands the complexity surrounding the vagina/cervix, she is perfect.
