Dr. Yusim, a Stanford and Yale-educated psychiatrist, works with patients to achieve their highest level of mental and emotional well-being. She treats people who are going through difficult life circumstances-relationship difficulties, family problems, worry, job stress, trauma, and more. She also treats all psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and sexual problems. Dr. Yusim completed her undergraduate education at Stanford University, where she studied Biology and Philosophy. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Yale University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Psychiatry at New York University Langone Medical Center, where she was named the National Institute of Mental Health Outstanding Resident. She is presently on clinical faculty at Yale's Department of Psychiatry and has over 80 publications.

Dr. Yusim is a cut above the rest. I've been to many therapists over the past 20 years but this doctor has something that I've never experienced with anybody else. When I left her office after my first session, I felt lighter and freer, as though my depression had been lifted. It's strange to say but it felt almost magical. I've only seen her once so far, but from my first experience, she's well worth the money & truly something special. I'll definitely be going back.
Excellent! I really like this doctor. She does not push meds. In addition to discussing medications, she is informed about alternative treatments (supplements, nutrition, acupuncture, exercise, etc). This is also the first doctor who has really gone in depth with me about my spiritual beliefs. This was a breath of fresh air and I found our discussion therapeutic, insightful and uplifting. This doctor is kind, authentic, positive, professional and easy to talk to. I liked her a lot!

Dr. Yusim is, by far, one of the best professionals I have had the privilege of knowing. First, she listens, she is sympathetic, she participates in your session. Second, she is extremely bright and creative in her approach in helping you come up with what is right for you in terms of a plan. Thank you with all my heart Dr. Anna. I only attended 3 sessions with her and she accommodated me immediately due to the urgency of my situation. I've seen a number of different psychiatrists over the years and I can say that Dr. Yusim is among the very best. Her rates are on the high end, but it's worth it.
