My biggest strengths are seeing my patients achieve tremendous improvement by building mental strength and resiliency-qualities that can positively affect everything from motivation and relationships to performance, decision-making, and productivity, which were not present before the treatment. I hold a Master's in Nursing from Walden University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my patients effectively.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Treatment methods used are counseling, medication management, solution-focused briefing, and interpersonal therapy. for instance, patients will get to understand what causes anxiety and depression, symptoms, triggers and different management approaches, coping skills. and available resources to help with symptom management. My client never left the meeting the same way they were before the assessment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Patients will benefit from deep learning, and knowledge about mental health issues, symptoms, triggers, and ways to identify/ avoid triggers and maintain a stress-free lifestyle, to promote good mental health. the session will include medication management, counseling and talk therapy. we also draw patient attention to psychoeducation. Psychoeducation is an important component of treatment, as it has been found to improve treatment outcomes for a wide variety of diagnoses. The goal of psychoeducation is to help the client understand and cope with their diagnoses as well as improve treatment adherence, as clients who understand their treatment are better able to follow through on recommendations.

I would have preferred to remain having communication and appointment through a single app. With this appointment I needed to create a zocdoc profile, a patient portal profile, AND then a HeadWay profile before I was able to be seen. Having to go through such a long process almost deterred me from seeking pysch help.

I would not recommend this provider. My appointment was for 11:30. I filled out all the documents and sat waiting for the NP for an hour. At 700 pm I got a call asking if I had time for the visit to which I said no. This morning when I checked email I had a bill from Headway for$100 for a missed appointment. The NP contacted me several times to reschedule and I informed her that I had to make other arrangements and did not need an appointment. She informed me that “I” would need to do that. JUST WOW

It was ridiculous I had to fill out the same information multiple times because of the use of a third party only to find out they didn't update insurance coverage for ZocDoc. Needing mental health care is quite frustrating these days. Very disappointing

While I understand our schedules can get busy, my appointment started 30+ minutes late with no communication. The doctor also did not take my insurance or discuss this during the consult. The doctor's atmosphere was distracting for her and interrupted our conversation. Virtual care is becoming more and more vital to our daily lives. I hope that she can find a better system that will suit her patients.
