About Dr. Anupam Goel
Dr. Anupam Goel is a general internist who earned his Doctor of Medicine from Emory University and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He is passionate about using technology to help patients make more informed decisions about their health care and believes it can facilitate higher-value interactions within the health care system. While telemedicine is an excellent option for acute conditions, Dr. Goel also finds it highly effective for managing chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and congestive heart failure.
His practice, Health Care Remotely, does NOT accept health insurance. New visits are charged $70, and return visits range from $25 to $35 depending on the type of visit. Patients receive a superbill to submit for insurance reimbursement and can use HSA or FSA accounts to pay for visits.

Dr. Goel was very clear with making sure I knew how his business worked ahead of time regarding charges and prescribing capabilities. He was also flexible regarding my personal payment needs. Later, he made many calls very quickly for me to solve an issue I was having with another provider. Dr. Goel is also just generally friendly and definitely looking to help as much as possible. Dr Goel was very nice. Usually I have to wait a few minutes for the doctors to go to their appointment but he was there before I was. He reviewed my history with me and got updated on the medication I'm taking currently. He was very up front about the treatment we could do and was honest and nice. Bedside manner was excellent, he definitely listened and empathized more than other doctors I've been seen by.

Honestly whenever I need to see a doctor/use an urgent care I'm now going to use the app and follow up with Dr Goel from here on out. I was seen right away and the video call was very smooth. Much better than trying to book an appointment locally then having to go in and sit in a waiting room among other sick people/potentially getting other people sick. Best experience I've ever had in terms of a trip to a doctors office. Virtual is the way!

Dr. Goel was a great listener and very understanding. He immediately ordered the medication I needed and did some research. I felt safe with him and that I had found a doctor with my interest at heart. I felt that he would go the distance to help me. He seemed to know about the latest in medicine. I respect him for his knowledge.

It was Christmas Day 2 a.m. so had to wait until 7:30 a.m. but it was still better then ER since no urgent care was open. Dr. was able to quickly assess and sent an antibiotic prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy. He was also proactive and alerted me to possible side effects and best way to handle.

Dr. Goel had excellent bedside manner and was genuinely concerned about my comfort, in addition to my diagnosis and finding the right medication. He was very comforting and even checked in on other historical issues to be sure I was all set with treatment and medication. I wish all doctors were like Dr. Goel!

Dr. Goel saved the day!! I was out of town for a funeral and woke up with a swollen itchy eye. Dr. Goel was quick to diagnose conjunctivitis and prescribed some eye drops. Literally, within hours my eye was feeling relief. Thanks Dr. Goel!!
