About Dr. Anuradha Arun

We are a primary care office and see patients ages 18 and over. We are NOT an OB-GYN office. While we do pap smears, we do not perform GYN exams.
Dr. Anuradha Arun is a primary care doctor proud to serve Silver Spring and the greater District area. She strives to be a thorough and compassionate internist through detailed exams and close listening to her patients.
As a cutting-edge provider, Dr. Arun offers many uncommon primary care services, including in-house labs, EKG, and peripheral vascular disease screenings. She also provides outpatient services such as dermatological procedures and women's health. She has received several awards for her work in medicine, including the John H. Mulholland Research Award for Outstanding Research.
Her medical research includes ?Effectiveness of Hydroxyurea Therapy in the Treatment of Sickle Cell Anemia in Hospital-Based Practices,? which she presented at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.
Dr. Arun earned her medical degree (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) at Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalai University. She completed her internship in General Surgery and her residency in Internal Medicine at Union Memorial Hospital. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and looks forward to meeting you!
