Dr. Misra joined ShoulderMD over 2 years ago and has greatly enhanced the patient experience providing best practice techniques and consultations while maintaining the patient at the center of care. Dr. Misra has a unique passion for Sports Medicine that has enabled him to train internationally with renowned Orthopedist Dr. James R. Andrews. He was selected as only a few Physicians to have been trained by a founding father of modern Sports Medicine. Dr. Misra has served as a Medical Director in the San Francisco Bay area since 2011 and is currently the Sports Medicine Consultant for the Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Milwaukee Brewers when they play in the San Francisco Bay area. He also has a dedication to pass along his training to students as a clinical instructor for UCSF and Samuel Merritt University. Dr. Misra obtained his medical degree from JJM Medical College located in India. He gained admission to medical school directly from high school in Santa Clara, California.
