About Anusha Sunasara
Anusha Sunasara, MSN, FNP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner who obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2020 at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Cizik School of Nursing in Houston, Texas. She remained there to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing, completing the Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2023. Anusha joined Kelsey-Seybold's Hematology and Oncology department in April 2025.
Seeing the difference healthcare professionals have made the lives of her own family sparked Anusha’s passion for providing compassionate and personalized care. Anusha takes the time to listen to her patients, understand their concerns, and provide clear explanations so every patient feels heard and cared for. As a nurse practitioner in Hematology and Oncology, she can address and treat a variety of blood-related conditions such as anemia and clotting disorders. Anusha also treats patients who are at a high risk of cancers or have completed cancer treatment. She likes to stay current on the latest research and treatments to provide the best evidence-based care for her patients, but Anusha’s favorite part of being in the medical field is having the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives.
