psychiatric needs can be addressed in one place. Collaborating with a great team of psychologists, therapist and a social service coordinator. Excellent care to all clients with individual needs and desires in mind.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I work hard to balance where you are in your individual journey with no judgement with safe and effective treatment. You can always count on me to be honest in an accepting manner. I invite you to always share your thoughts and feeling knowing this is your journey.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
During your initial appointment we will work together to fulling understand your medical history, psychiatric history, symptoms and confirm a diagnosis. The next step will be to articulate a plan that focuses on your goals, values and priorities. We will discuss some therapeutic techniques but focus on the medication management aspect of your care. We have an excellent wholistic plan for ADHD treatment including in-person visits, drug screening and conformation testing like neuropsychological testing and BrainView. I personally. We will utilize medications that are safe and effective without risk of dependency or addiction.

This intake meeting was an hour an twenty minutes, the provider spoke to me in a way that felt challenging and invalidating while I gave an oral report of my mental health history. After the hour and twenty minutes the provider told me she did not prescribe the full range the kind of meds I was looking for. Only extended release and no short release stimulants which is a problem as I have always been prescribed both. She told me I would have to go to two separate appointments with other providers for a physical and a drug test which was misleading because she appeared under the hybrid schedule but she herself is only online + I picked her because she appeared close to my job on a map. She told me that the time slots later in the evening were only for intake appointments which was misleading because I chose her practice for the 7pm time slot that wouldn’t interfere with my job.
