Getting to know Dr. Armeen Rouyanian
I'm Dr. Armeen Rouyanian, and I provide telemedicine psychiatric care to adults across Oklahoma. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, panic, PTSD, or sleep problems, my practice may be a good fit.
What to expect with me:
• An unhurried first visit (50 minutes) where we actually talk through what's been going on — not a 15-minute checklist.
• Clear explanations of any medication I recommend: what it does, why I'm choosing it, what side effects to watch for, and when we'll know it's working.
• Easy access to follow-up appointments and refills through a secure patient portal.
• In-house psychotherapy when it would help, drawing from CBT, psychodynamic, and trauma-focused approaches.
I trained in chemistry before medicine, and I bring that careful, mechanism-focused thinking to every prescription. I want you to understand your treatment, not just take it.
A few practical notes: I'm in-network with HealthChoice, accept self-pay for other PPO plans, and offer evenings (Mon/Tues/Thurs) and Saturday mornings. Because the practice is fully virtual, I don't prescribe controlled substances (stimulants, benzodiazepines, Z-drugs) — but I do offer effective non-controlled alternatives for ADHD, anxiety, and insomnia.

We are in-network with HealthChoice. If you have HealthChoice, your visits are billed through your plan and you'll be responsible for any copay, coinsurance, or deductible.
For all other PPO plans, we are out of network. You can pay our self-pay rate at the time of your appointment and submit the receipt to your insurer for possible reimbursement under your out-of-network mental health benefits — we recommend calling the number on your insurance card to confirm what they'll cover before your visit.
Fee-for-service rates:
• Initial Psychiatric Evaluation (50 min, required for new patients): $300
• Medication Management Follow-Up (25 min): $150
We do not accept Medicare, Medicaid (SoonerCare), or HMO plans at this time. Payment is collected at the time of service.
Cancellation policy: We require 24 business hours' notice. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full appointment fee.
