Arsany Anis, MD is a dedicated and skilled board-certified rheumatologist with a comprehensive background in internal medicine. Dr. Anis completed his medical education at Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine, in Egypt where he gained extensive knowledge in various medical disciplines. Following this, he pursued further training in internal medicine at New York Medical College, Saint Michael’s Medical Center. This rigorous program provided him with the clinical skills necessary to diagnose and manage complex medical conditions. After completing his residency, Dr. Anis undertook a fellowship in rheumatology at Cooper University Hospital. This fellowship allowed him to focus on the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune diseases and musculoskeletal disorders, equipping him with advanced expertise in managing conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, myositis and vasculitis. Dr. Anis is particularly interested in advancing research and treatment options for chronic inflammatory diseases and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. Dr. Anis is fluent in English and Arabic.

What a joy — He’s such a wonderful listener ( especially valued and appreciated after having seen another doctor from a different provider where they hadn’t heard me at all — was advised to just stick it out to get the treatment going; A dear relative recommended getting a second opinion and what a difference a different take was to make ! )

And helped explained my situation clearly
As well as offering various treatment options and characteristics ( with the commensurate insurance ramifications etc. )

I dont think I've ever had such a thorough doctor's appointment in my life. The appointment didnt start on time but I could hear him talking to a patient in another room so I didnt mind. He had clearly read all the paperwork the office had me fill out in advance so he understood my medical history and he asked so many questions but they weren't repeats of the filled out forms, they were to add more info for him. He took the time to explain things to me fully and even had his laptop nearby to show me examples of things. I didnt feel rushed. There was a lab on site to quickly do bloodwork he wanted right after as well.
Make sure you fill out the paperwork in advance, it takes a while and the office will cancel your appointment if it'll not completely filled out but seeing as how the doctor clearly reads it all, I didn't mind, Would definitely recommend to others.
side note: jersey city office - entrance is easy to miss as it's on the platform for the tram.

From the moment I walked into the facility, I felt welcomed—the staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and the environment was warm and inviting.
Dr. Anis was exceptionally thorough in his examination, taking the time to listen carefully to all of my concerns. He made me feel heard, valued and truly cared for, which is something that can be hard to find in a doctor. His attention to detail, expertise and genuine compassion set him apart.
If you’re looking for a rheumatologist who is knowledgeable, attentive and truly dedicated to patient care, I highly recommend Dr. Anis. He is by far one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen!

I would highly recommend Dr. Arsany Anis. I had a short wait time - less than 10 minutes. He was very thorough in his examination, asking many thoughtful questions and ordering numerous tests to get to an accurate diagnosis. He has started my treatment plan and after only one day, I already have significant relief of my pain. I am very grateful for his help and glad that I found him.
