About Dr. Arturo Holmes

Arturo E. Holmes II, MD, specializes in minimally invasive surgery with a focus on complex kidney stone disease, robotic urinary tract reconstruction and kidney cancer. Dr. Holmes grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2011. He then pursued his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Meharry College, graduating in 2017. His postgraduate training took him to SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn where he completed an internship in general surgery in 2018 and residency in Urology in 2022. He then continued his training at the University of Washington, completing a fellowship in Endourology and Minimally Invasive Surgery in 2024. When not working, Dr. Holmes enjoys spending time with friends and family.
