Emerald Psychiatry believes patients deserve access to real-time mental health care! After booking your appointment, you will receive the following communication: 1. A phone call to confirm your appointment. 2. An email invitation from AdvancedMD to create your patient portal. You will need to sign up for our patient portal and complete the new patient paperwork prior to your first appointment. Thank you for entrusting us with your care. Ashleigh graduated from Chamberlain University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then earned her Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University. She has worked for the past three years on an inpatient psychiatric floor as both a registered nurse and a Nurse Practitioner. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her family.

What should a new client know about working with you?

At Emerald Psychiatry & TMS Center we do not prescribe Benzodiazepines to patients. If patients are currently taking Benzodiazepines, they must be willing to taper off the medication and our providers will prescribe a new medication in its place.  Please note, 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment you will receive a link from our online appointment platform, Doxy. You will need to click on the link and allow your camera and sound. This will take you to your virtual waiting room to meet your provider.

I have never left a bad review online and I really hate doing this, but this was not a good experience for me. Throughout the conversation, I did not feel comfortable opening up. I know that is going to happen sometimes and it takes time to find the right person, but I just didn’t feel heard or comfortable. I felt like she was just going through the motions. She said she would send me resources after that could help me, and sent me a 3 minute YouTube video. After the call I felt more stressed than I was before and regretted even scheduling. The reason I chose this office was because my insurance covered it. I just received a call saying they were surprised to see that there was a denial and my insurance does not cover it. So I just paid more than I can afford out of pocket for a 30 minute call that did more harm than good for me. This is my personal experience, I know she has other good reviews. But I wouldn’t go back.
