Getting to know Ashleigh Noel

I started my career in health care as a Medic in the United States Army. After serving and being honorably discharged, I pursued my education as a nurse, first obtaining my Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Excelsior University as a Registered Nurse, then my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. I worked on Psychiatric and Acute Care units in the hospital setting for six years. During that time, I earned a Master of Science in Advanced Practice Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, followed by a Master of Science in Psychiatric Nursing from Washburn University, becoming a Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I graduated near the top of my class for both my undergraduate and graduate coursework, receiving the academic distinction of Summa Cum Laude and induction into Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. I hold dual certification in both Family and Psychiatric specialties but practice exclusively in Psychiatry. I am continuing my studies at Case Western Reserve University for my Doctorate in Nursing Practice. For the past seven years, I have treated children, teens, adults, and geriatric clients with mental health disorders in a community health clinic, private practice, group and retirement homes, and among inmates at a local jail. Your success with treatment is my priority. I look forward to serving as your psychiatric provider.

What should a new client know about working with you?

An initial appointment will take about 45 minutes in length. I will review completed questionnaires, gather the information that brought you to schedule your appointment and the history of your symptoms. After all information is gathered, I will provide you with your treatment plan, medications prescribed if indicated and educate you about both. I will answer any questions you have. I typically see client's for follow up appointments on a monthly basis. Sessions are usually 15 minutes in length and utilized to review current symptoms, effectiveness of prescribed medications and to order or review test results.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Ashleigh was very helpful about all the questions I had, I was very nervous due to past experiences with doctors trying to get meds, but she was so friendly and listened to everything I had to say. She really seemed to care, and that meant so much to me. I’d recommend her to anyone, and I look forward to seeing her again.
