About Dr. Ashley Absolu
Dr. Ashley J. Absolu, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician seeing patients at Southeast Medical Group's Fayetteville clinic.
Dr. Absolu is from Florida. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a degree in exercise physiology before earning her medical degree from Florida State College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident for 2024–2025. She is an active member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, and the Obesity Medicine Association. Dr. Absolu is fluent in Haitian Creole.
Dr. Absolu has special medical interests in chronic disease management, including diabetes, hypertension, and obesity, as well as preventive care and minor office procedures such as Pap smears, suturing, contraceptive implant and IUD insertion/removal, and joint injections. She also offers colposcopy and manages a wide range of primary care needs. Dr. Absolu welcomes patients ages 18 and older.

I was called back into a room within 20 minutes of my arrival anf checking in. The staff was very friendly and my doctor was very personable.

I will never go back to this doctors office. 10 minutes late getting there and I spent to 10 minutes waiting for my name to be called in the lobby. The entire time I was there was about an hour and a half after I got called back. I spent the rest of my time, waiting on the doctor I ended up having to leave because it took her so long to attend to my appointment?.

This was my first visit to this office. They were very cordial, polite, and thorough. Dr. Absolu and nurse practitioner Yasmine were both very professional and knowledgeable.
