About Ashley Carreiro
Ashley Carreiro, MSN, APN, AGNP-C is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in adult and geriatric medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Fairleigh Dickinson University specializing in Primary Care Adult Gerontology NP and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Caldwell University where she was Valedictorian of her nursing class. She is board certified as an Adult Gerontology NP through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is also board certified in Medical Surgical Nursing (RN-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Prior to becoming an NP, she worked at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center for several years. Previously worked at RWJBH Primary Care in North Arlington, NJ and recently has moved to RWJBH Primary Care of Marlboro.
Her areas of interest are preventative care for young adults to geriatrics, acute and chronic disease management, as well as weight loss management. Ashley is dedicated on providing the highest quality patient and family-centered care and to help patients make the best-informed decisions that will positively affect their health outcomes.

Ashley is one of the best PCPs I’ve seen. She is incredibly thoughtful, thorough, and an excellent listener. Her caring approach made me feel completely at ease and comfortable asking questions, and I received clear, helpful answers every time. The office was also very clean and welcoming.

Doctor Ashley was exceptional! Everyone at the office was very friendly and helpful. Dr Carreiro took every concern seriously and took the time to explain the next steps and options. It was a level of attentiveness that can be hard to find in a doctor. It feels good to know my wife and I found a PCP in the area that we can trust and continue to use.

After a several year history of dismissal and falling through the cracks, Ashley Carreiro and team made me feel heard. I was cared for as a whole patient rather than piece-mealed out because I was already seeing a couple specialists. She took her time with me and no concern was overlooked.
