About Ashley Clark

My experience as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit gave me a firsthand look at how earlier intervention in healthcare can prevent serious illness and hospitalization. That perspective led me to become a nurse practitioner specializing in adult and geriatric medicine, where I can focus on prevention, early treatment, and ongoing support for my patients. I provide comprehensive primary care for adults and seniors, including annual physicals, preventive screenings, and ongoing general medical care. I have a strong focus on managing chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma, and diabetes, as well as supporting patients with depression and anxiety. I also offer women's health services, including Pap smears, birth control, and menopause care. My goal is to be a trusted primary care provider for patients at every stage of life; from those seeking preventive care to Medicare patients and individuals managing multiple chronic conditions. I am especially passionate about serving communities with limited access to healthcare, including rural populations, and advancing access to women's and LGBTQ+ care. I take a collaborative approach to care, working closely with each patient to create realistic, individualized treatment plans. I believe in open communication and shared decision-making, taking into account not only medical needs but also lifestyle and financial considerations. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and our chocolate Labrador. We love being outdoors - especially boating on High Rock Lake, kayaking, and hiking. I also enjoy reading and knitting as a way to relax and recharge.
