About Ashley Lowe

I chose primary care after spending more than eight years working in the intensive care unit. While caring for critically ill patients was deeply rewarding, I was drawn to the opportunity to focus on prevention and early intervention. Primary care allows me to address health concerns before they become serious, promote long-term wellness and build meaningful, lasting relationships with my patients over time. My approach to healthcare is grounded in treating each patient with the same care, respect and compassion I would offer a family member. I strive to provide thorough education, answer questions openly and support each individual's autonomy in making informed decisions about their health. By fostering a collaborative and trusting relationship, I aim to empower patients to take an active role in their care and achieve their health goals. Born and raised in Charlotte, I am proud to call this area home. In July 2025, I was honored to be named Best Nurse Practitioner in Huntersville, N.C., in the BusinessRate "Best of 2025" awards. Outside of work, I find fulfillment in traveling and exploring new places, as well as spending quality time with my three children. My family and community are an important part of my life, and I value the connections and experiences that come from both.
