About Ashley Ray
Ashley Ray is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas.
She studied at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with honors. She continued working at Scott and White Hospital on inpatient psychiatry, skilled nursing, rehabilitation and orthopedic units.
After returning to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner, she returned to Houston to be closer to family.
Ashley has worked as a family nurse practitioner in Fulshear, and then spent time in occupational medicine, urgent care medicine, and more recently virtual primary care and acute care. She has vast experience from preventative medicine and wellness to acute care and disease management.
With over 15 years of experience, Ashley finds it important to partner with patients and navigate their concerns together. She oversees patients' complete medical care and works closely with other specialists to create a broad continuum of care for patients. She is passionate about wellness and preventative medicine. She joined Medical Office Of Katy in October 2025 and is looking forward to helping the community stay healthy and well.
Ashley is married and has two young sons. She has a standard poodle, who is the life of the party, and one cat. If she is not at work, you will find Ashley with family, cooking and baking, training for her next half marathon, and tending to her urban backyard garden.
