“I was referred by another patient and it was very easy to book with Dr. Reader and I was able to get on her schedule quickly. It was nice to get the text confirmations and reminders with the address to office. I did all of my paperwork online before coming in, so I didn't have to wait long at all and went straight back. Everyone was so friendly from the front desk to the doctor. It was very clean and it seemed very organized. Dr. Reader was great at looking me over and communicating everything. I will be referring her to more people and I plan to bring my daughters in soon. ”

About Dr. Ashley Reader
After receiving her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Reader attended the University of Pikeville, Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi Medical Honor Society. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Largo Medical Center in Florida, followed by a dermatology residency at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor, MI, where she served as chief resident. After residency, Dr. Reader worked in private practice in Denver, CO for three years. She is excited to now be back in her home state of Kentucky to provide dermatologic care.
Dr. Reader is passionate about medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, and enjoys practicing all three on a daily basis. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, and especially taking care of entire families for their skin care needs. Dr. Reader finds great reward in managing acne, psoriasis and other chronic dermatologic conditions where she can truly see the difference she makes in someone’s life.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband exploring the great outdoors. She is an avid hiker, runner and biker. She also enjoys tennis and is a die-hard Kentucky basketball fan. Dr. Reader has two Bengal cats, Bella and Binx, who provide endless entertainment and energy!
Dr. Reader is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
