Audra Worthington, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a certified mental health nurse practitioner with more than 13 years of experience in nursing. As the founder and owner of Sage Mental Wellness, Audra strives to provide patient-centered mental health care to the communities of Hagerstown and Frederick, Maryland. Audra began her nursing career as a certified nursing assistant before obtaining her associate nursing degree at Pierce College in Puyallup, Washington. Two years later, she earned her bachelor in nursing degree from Western Governors University, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Audra ultimately earned her mental health nurse practitioner degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Along with her undergraduate and graduate-level education, Audra obtained a master of psychopharmacology certification from the Neuroscience Education Institute. At Sage Mental Wellness, Audra takes a holistic approach to care through evidence-based treatments, such as psychotherapy, medication management, and ketamine therapy. She welcomes patients experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, sleep problems, and other mental health disorders that can affect a person’s quality of life. To ensure she meets the needs of all her clients, Audra offers evening and weekend appointments and telepsychiatry services. Outside of her work at Sage Mental Wellness, Audra belongs to professional organizations such as the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, & Practitioners.
