After serving two years as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology in New York City, Dr. Echt began her Dermatology private practice in Manhattan. After several years of private practice, Dr. Echt completed a two-year fellowship for additional surgical training in Mohs Micrographic and Cosmetic Surgery in Columbus, OH. After all of her extensive training, research, and numerous publications, she moved to Raleigh in 2000 to open her own Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery practice. Dr. Echt specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and surgical excision for the treatment of skin cancer, as well as up-to-date cosmetic treatments, including various fillers, leg vein treatments and Botox®.
