I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University. Driven by a strong passion for mental health and a commitment to helping patients feel safe, heard, and respected, I returned to graduate school and obtained my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Liberty University in 2021. MEDICATION PRESCRIBING: Thriveworks providers do not prescribe opioid use disorder medications, weight-loss medications, injectable psychiatric medications, long-term benzodiazepines, or sleep medications, though these may be prescribed short-term for existing clients when clinically appropriate. Controlled substances, including ADHD stimulants, are available only in select states.
