Dr. Romero is a graduate of the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She is a board-certified OB/GYN and urogynecologist, completing this subspecialty fellowship training in urogynecology at the prestigious Duke University Medical School, the birthplace of that specialty.
Dr. Romero's training, clinical experience and empathy with patients is well recognized. Women from neighboring states often seek her care for urinary incontinence, pelvic floor problems and other issues. She is professional, exacting … a true expert in the field of Urogynecology. Doctor' s bedside manner is poor. I realize I wasn't there for a friendly cup of coffee but she may have said maybe 10 words throughout the entire appointment. Asked no questions about my health in general, just how long I had my symptoms. Doesn't inspire much trust.

I did not feel like Dr Romero was listening to me. She was impatient with me and my postpartum concerns. The pelvic exam was painful and a little rough.
It was the worst experience that I can recall with a medical provider. I left the office quite shaken.

The office staff and check in process were highly efficient, but I found Dr Romero herself to be unpleasant. She was short when answering questions I had, and was not at all friendly. These are not qualities I’m looking for in an OB or anything as sensitive as gynecological needs.

She didnt respond to any of my concerns, the appointment was 5 minutes, where she didnt ask any questions, it was basically waste of time. Im not sure if she was in a rush because was late or just not interested overall in a patient.

The visit was fine - I was prescribed two medications exactly a week ago. my insurance doesnt cover one of them so the pharmacy and myself have been trying to get in touch with her for a week to see if there is a generic. So crazy that it is now a week and they havent heard back
