Education and Training Dr. Cope was raised in St. George where he was Student Body President during his time at Snow Canyon High School. After graduating with a Bachelor of Biology and Valedictorian status from Dixie State University, he went to medical school at Texas Tech University with a dual degree MD/MBA. He returned to Utah where he underwent his dermatology residency as Chief Resident at the University of Utah. From there, he trained one-on-one with some of the most world-renowned cosmetic dermatology experts in North America, including Dr. Kent Remington in Calgary and Dr. Jody Comstock in Tucson. Dr. Cope is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Because of his extensive training and experience, Dr. Cope is one of the foremost aesthetic dermatology experts in the western United States. Publications Dr. Cope has a curious mind and loves to continue learning from others in his field. He’s also passionate about sharing his own learned knowledge and has authored a book titled Sun Proof: A Practical Guide for Sun-Damaged Skin. How to Maximize Prevention and Repair the Damage. In it, he explores the many options available for reversing sun damage and preventing its effects with the best injections, lasers, and topical products available. Hobbies and Personal Life Dr. Cope lives in Alpine, UT with his amazing wife, Laura, and their 6 children. He and his family enjoy traveling the world and learning more about the extensive history of the many places they visit. He has served a mission in Brazil where he became fluent in Portuguese. Additionally, Dr. Cope loves spending time outside, as well as singing and dancing (including mastering the moonwalk).
