Dr. Rose received his MD with Honors and completed residency training at UNC followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2003. He served on Faculty for over 20 years at the UNC Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, ultimately as a Professor and the Vice Chair of Finance. While at UNC, Dr. Rose was Course Director of the annual Newton D. Fischer Society Scientific Meeting as well as the Founder (in 2008) and first Director of the Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship Program. He is proud of his service at UNC where he remains an Emeritus Professor. For over 20 years now, Dr. Rose has cared for children in the Triangle and beyond with both common and complex ENT issues. In addition to his background in Pediatric Otolaryngology, Dr. Rose has helped to develop the entirely new subspecialty of Pediatric Rhinology, Allergy & Sinus Surgery.

About Dr. Austin Rose
