About Dr. Aylin Ozdemir

She is the owner of Pediatric Associates of Jacksonville established 1932 since 2001 and guides the practice through her vision. Dr. O is a graduate of the University of Arizona Integrative Medicine Fellowship program conducted by Dr. Andrew Weil. She holds certifications from the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. O earned her medical degree from the University of Istanbul and completed her internship at the Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children in the United Kingdom. Dr. O achieved residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania, and at the State University of New York’s Long Island College Hospital. She expanded her academic learning in Southern California by attending the Advanced Integrative Family Medicine training at Scripps Hospital of Personalized Medicine and Nutrigenomics at Bastyr University. Throughout her career in family practice within the Jacksonville area, Dr. O has been honored multiple times by the National Consumer Advisory Board as one of America’s Best Doctors and by Patients’ Choice as one of America’s Most Compassionate Doctors, a distinction bestowed on only the top 5 percent of all the nation’s physicians. Dr. O’s expertise in understanding and implementing numerous paradigms such as how the environment, genes and nutrition play a role in the whole patient systems approach allows her to practice a distinctive and extremely effective style of treatment and care. If I could give her zero stars I would. I have had several visits with Dr.O and they were all the same: waiting over an hour , dismissive, had no idea what was going on and rude. So rude, just awful bedside manner. During our last visit she showed up an hour late, rude, prescribed my child unnecessary medications without taking a proper history and then asked if I was pregnant on her way out. ( I’m currently postpartum.) I’ve been with her practice for a while now but looking to switch after the latest visit. The NPs, other MD and admin are fantastic. It’s a shame they are associated with her. Stay away.
