About Dr. Barak Clement
Dr. Clement currently serves as an operational medical officer and dermatologist with 1st Marine Division aboard Camp Pendleton, CA.
He received his medical degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ and subsequently began active-duty service in the United States Navy. After graduating from the dermatology residency training program at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, Dr. Clement was board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
Though originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Clement has strong roots in San Diego through his wife, a San Diego County native, and as an alumnus of San Diego Christian College.
Being in the Navy has taken Dr. Clement and his family all over the United States and given him the privilege of caring for patients from many different backgrounds, cultures, and countries. Whether active-duty or civilian, infant or elderly, Dr. Clement is passionate about caring for people and he loves learning something unique about each person he cares for.

We had a great experience, good solutions provided and fast to relieve some sleep disruptive pain that had gone on for weeks. Hopefully everything heals great. We appreciated the immediate appointment availability - a luxury now with some providers - sadly.

He was knowledgable even outside his area. Staff was helpful and not intrusive. I was treated respectfully and my disability accommodated. I got an appointment without too long a wait and I appreciated that they are unlike Scripps where staff assume a disabled patient must be stupid or have dementia. Maybe you can find me an internist too?

I was really happy after my visit with Dr. Barak Clement. I was able to ask all my questions with no rush and he provided me with a lot of reassurance. He made me feel safe and comfortable with my concerns. I will definitely be returning to him next time. I feel a lot better about my health after this visit.
