What should a new client know about working with you?

My practice focus is helping clients with depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, and trauma. I work with clients to find strategies to better manage their uncomfortable feelings and negative thoughts and change unwanted behaviors. If you, or your child, are struggling with intense emotions, painful experiences, or unhealthy habits, I can help. We can collaborate to find techniques specific to your unique needs. My role will be to assist you on your mental health journey to create the life you want.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Starting the journey to improve your mental health is not easy, but therapy may reduce distressing symptoms, increase personal insight, and improve relationships. During the intake session, I will gather information to help you decide the goals you would like to work on in therapy. The therapy sessions will focus on exploring the obstacles that prevent healing, self-growth, and progress toward your life goals and identifying and practicing strategies to overcome these obstacles.
