“First appointment tedious. Although my insurance was confirmed by main office to confirm appointment at this office, when I contacted this office they had no information. Second appointment, I was told I had no appointment, although I had the appointment card previously given to me. I have knee injuries, I’m not on pain medication and my mobility is impaired. No one cared, no reimbursement for my transportation, just you’re not on the schedule. I’m in my testing phase, nerve damage and MRI) I’ll probably not go back after all is done. I do NOT recommend”

With over 30 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Barry Jupiter is a part of Island Musculoskeletal Care. He works toward building a better healthcare environment in several communities of New York. His exceptional work ethic ensures that patients leave the office satisfied with thorough care. He sees patients with conditions such as fractures, knee dislocations, hip surgeries, arthritis, and osteoporosis.
Dr. Jupiter earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He subsequently completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Montefiore Medical Center - Moses Division Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Jupiter explores many options and customizes all treatment methods for each patient. He takes time to listen to each patient's health concerns and works on the treatment accordingly, ensuring it suits their recovery and lifestyle.
