Dr. Barry E. Schapiro, M.D., F.A.A.O.S., is a highly skilled, double board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in both orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Henry Ford Hospital. In addition to his expertise in these areas, he has received advanced training in regenerative orthopedics from the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Schapiro is dedicated to utilizing the latest minimally invasive techniques and cartilage- and joint-preserving procedures to help his patients return to their active lifestyles.
