My approach My approach to mental healthcare is based on empathy, accurate information, and personalized support. Common theoretical approaches I use include CBT, Talk Therapy, Mindfulness and relaxation techniques, Person-centered care, Crisis intervention, Strength-based approach, and Psychoeducation. My communication style I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I ensure you feel safe to express your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment, maintain a calm and reassuring tone during distress or crisis, and approach each conversation with compassion and understanding. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into mental health was driven by a desire to help others, especially the underserved, advocacy and stigma reduction, empathy and compassion, and a sense of purpose and achievement. My goals for you My approach to goal setting involves collaborative discussion, specific, realistic, and measurable goals, monitoring and adjusting goals as needed, clarity, encouragement, and support. Our first session In our first session, I offer a warm welcome, introduction, and explanation. We'll discuss your concerns, set goals together, and I'll provide information about your condition. We'll develop a plan, and I'll answer your questions so you feel well informed and confident about the next steps.
