The theoretical approach that aligns most with my practice is the Humanistic Perspective, heavily based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. This theory suggests that to reach full potential, a person must satisfy each of the five levels of needs. Overall, the humanistic perspective views human behavior as a whole. I treat a wide range of conditions, including Major Depression, Anxiety, Panic, PTSD, OCD, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorders, Women's Mental Health, Conduct Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Gender Dysphoria, Mood Dysregulation, and Gender Transition. A session with me feels like sitting with an old friend who truly has your best interest at heart. To ensure a productive first visit, please complete your intake form in advance. During our initial appointment, we will conduct a full mental health assessment and evaluation, which involves many questions about your medical and mental health history. Collaboratively, we will work toward an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan, which may require multiple visits. Controlled medications may be available through my practice on a limited basis.
