About Belinda Walker
I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Medway Pain Center in El Paso, Texas, where I help care for patients suffering from chronic pain, nerve pain, joint pain, back pain, neck pain, and other complex pain conditions. I work closely with and am supervised by Dr. Tochi Umunakwe, a double board-certified specialist in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology, to help provide comprehensive, patient-centered pain management care.
My clinical background includes experience in pain management, rehabilitation medicine, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and veteran-focused evaluations. I am passionate about taking the time to listen carefully to my patients, understand their concerns, and develop personalized treatment plans focused on improving comfort, mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
At Medway Pain Center, I work alongside our team to provide compassionate care using both conservative and minimally invasive treatment approaches when appropriate. I believe patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care journey.
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington and am board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). I am also ACLS and BLS certified and have experience caring for patients across a variety of clinical settings.
