Hi there,
Are you looking for a provider who listens to you, gives you time, and pays attention to your mental health needs? Berline is a nurse practitioner dually board certified in psychiatric and mental health as well as adult-geriatric primary care. She earned her Master’s in Adult and Geriatric Nursing from South University and is board certified through the American Nursing Credentialing Center and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has experience working in acute inpatient hospitals and outpatient private practice settings. She considers herself lucky to work in a progressive age of healthcare and strongly believes that mental healthcare especially relies on a culture of acceptance and openness.
Her goal is to advocate for patients and manage their treatment with compassion, understanding, and attention to holistic care. She brings with her a unique set of work experiences with a total of 17 years in the medical field. These experiences have exposed her to mental health, deepened her understanding of mental health needs, and fostered her passion for helping those most in need, especially those requiring mental health care.
Her work experience includes populations in acute inpatient hospitals, psychiatric care, long-term care, hospice, and veterans, as well as providing medical care to patients in the community. She has provided mental health care to patients from the teen years through 65+ years, specializing in depression, ADHD, insomnia, and anxiety, among other mental health needs. In addition to mental health, she is also certified in alcohol and drug addiction and specializes in alcohol and substance abuse among the adult population.
What should a new client know about working with you?
When you meet with me , you should expect a warm and engaging personality while showing real empathy to your mental health needs. I am here to help you , we will work together to identify your needs and address them. This will include needs of your mind, body and spirit as I use a holistic approach and not just medicine, I also use Motivational interview, mindfulness among other approaches to help you get better.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
