About Dr. Bhavna Verma
From a young age, I have had the indomitable desire to help and aid my community. Now, as a healthcare provider trained at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine and having completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Long Island College Hospital, I focus on providing patients with the best possible care through accurate and succinct information to educate and guide them through life. My goal is to ensure that patients can enhance their lives with proper guidance and care-whether discussing healthier alternatives to current practices or formulating a health plan that helps lessen dependency on long-term medications. I seek not only to be a caregiver but also a companion throughout their lives: a confident they can trust, an ear that listens intently, and a heart that accepts them for who they are. Attaining the position of physician is not tantamount to achieving these goals, but it permits me to fulfill them with greater efficacy. Along with supporting the longevity of my patients, I will continue to grow and apply my craft to all in need, so swear by my oath.
