Because we accept insurance, we can reduce out-of-pocket expenses and still offer high-quality care. You may not have any cost related to your visit with us, depending upon your insurance plan. Most patients pay a small copay per visit, subject to any deductible or coinsurance that your health plan has. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services determines appropriate billing guidelines. These guidelines depend on the length of the visit and the complexity and severity of your diagnosis. For this reason, we need to wait until after the visit for the final determination. We then submit the claim to your insurance company. The charges are calculated based upon pre-negotiated prices with your insurance company. Your insurance company will then determine what amount, if any, is your responsibility per your insurance plan.

I was very happy with the doctor I saw today. I have been trying to see an MD in my rural area with no success for quite a while now. I've just been seeing a lot of nurses who were unable to offer much assistance or stability. Todays appt was a breath of fresh air, Dr. Patel spent a full hour with one on one engagement during today's visit, and I look forward to such personable future visits.

Dr. Patel’s empathetic, active listening reassured me, to continue speaking. I’m touched by her warm validation. She instantly searched for a referral and may be one of the most polite, friendly practitioners I’ve met.

My appointment with Dr. Patel was great. She was prompt, easy to talk to, friendly, prepared and thorough, empathetic, and knowledgeable. She spent time getting to know me and understand my background. She has collaborative approach to choosing the path forward and that was refreshing. I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Dr. Patel is pragmatic, articulate and an expert in diagnosis. I decided to see her as I needed a second opinion for my condition. Given my scientific training, I was still not agreeing with my current diagnosis. Dr. Patel explained clearly her observations and rationale in layman terms. I felt heard, well understood and very comfortable. I wish you all speedy recovery and there is always light at the end of the tunnel. With kindness??

I was not aware until my session that the doctor does not accept patients who are on the prescription drug(s) that I currently take. I listed them on the questionnaire that preceded my visit. I cannot remember if that was the first thing she asked when we were in session. She does believe in transparency so I will commend her for that and follow suit. If her policy regarding certain medications had been crystal clear at the onset, we would have ended the session immediately. We were obviously not a good fit. I am sure other prospective patients will do well with her methodology.
